张忠祥，历史学博士，上海师范大学人文学院世界历史系教授、博士生导师，教育部区域和国别研究（培育）基地——上海师范大学非洲研究中心主任。兼任中国亚非学会副会长、中国非洲史研究会副会长、中国非洲问题研究会常务理事、上海市世界史学会副会长。曾任浙江师范大学历史主任，上海国际问题研究院研究员、西亚非洲研究中心副主任。2007年上半年在肯尼亚肯雅塔大学做高级访问学者，先后6次访问非洲，在肯尼亚内罗毕大学、肯尼亚外交学院、津巴布韦大学、南部非洲共同体资料文献中心、南非国际问题研究所、斯坦陵布什大学、博茨瓦纳大学、尼日利亚伊巴丹大学、拉各斯大学、贝宁国立大学、法国巴黎七大、宝岛台湾淡江大学等机构进行过学术交流。出版《20世纪非洲史学与史学家研究》《中非合作论坛研究》《中非合作论坛20年研究》《马里》《南非现代化研究》（合著）等著作多部。在《史学理论研究》《现代国际关系》《西亚非洲》《当代世界》《史学集刊》《史林》等专业刊物上发表论文多篇，对非洲问题、中非关系、中国对非洲外交等方面有比较深入的研究，在决策咨询方面也有明显的优势。完成国家社科基金重点项目1项、省部级课题10余项，目前在研国家社科基金一般项目1项，国家社科基金重大项目子课题2项。两次获得省部级科研奖励。

Prof. Zhang Zhongxiang has MA & PhD degrees from East China Normal University in Shanghai. He is a deputy director and a professor of the centre for African Studies of Shanghai Normal University. The research centre is one of the Region &Country Studies bases of the Ministry of Education of China, also one of the academic Unit of China-Africa Joint Research & Exchange Plan of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China. He had taught and researched at Zhejiang Normal University about 20 years. He was a deputy director and senior research fellow of center for West Asian and African Studies of Shanghai Institute for International Affairs from 2008 to 2011. His research interests include: China-Africa relationships,the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, the politics and economics in sub-Saharan Africa and so on.
